If you absolutely must have a miscarriage, I recommend writing about it in The New York Times. It's a great way to memorialize the baby who got away, and you might get an extremely cute illustration out of it.
Thank you to Roberta Zeff for the opportunity to share my story. If you are in need of a Jizo, you can get one here.

Just read your NYT article about Jizo. Wish I had known of this concept many years ago. A more formal, yet personal, way of grieving a miscarriage would have been helpful. Thanks for sharing and I will share my new-found knowledge as well.

Hello! My sister sent me your article today. She's always on the hunt to better understand my experience of having three miscarriages over the last few years. This piece was not only well written but also helped my sister and I discuss miscarriage in a new way. Thank you! Looking forward to reading your memoir.
